What's New for Practice Management
Collapsible Subtasks on the Task List
Description: Previously behind a toggle, we have now pushed this feature live to all users.
The Tasks List has been cleaned up to allow users to collapse and expand subtasks. This allows users to locate their primary tasks more quickly. Currently, this feature must be opted into. It will be fully integrated after tax season.

Create Tasks on Emails
Description: Practitioners can now create tasks from within an email on the Global Inbox. Once created, tasks will be linked to that email for easy access.

Print and Filter the Global Inbox
Description: The Global Inbox can now be filtered by Canopy Contacts. With this release, you can also print emails from directly within the Global Inbox. We'll be releasing more filter options in the future as well as the ability to search your inbox.
Description: Canopy's Professional users can now manipulate PDF files inside the file previewer. You can rename files, drag and drop new files to add to the PDF, move pages within the PDF, or rotate and delete pages. All of your changes will be automatically saved as you work.

What's New for Tax Resolution
New Transcripts API
Description: Canopy was selected by the IRS to build a new tool for pulling transcripts. Our new transcripts integration includes a number of improvements to help speed up the transcript pulling process. You’ll now only need to connect your IRS account to Canopy once. You can also pull transcripts from the web browser of your choice through a cleaner, in-app process.

What's New for Mobile
Canopy Client Portal v1.4.0 - Native Payments
Description: Canopy's Client Portal has been updated to allow your clients to make payments on the go from directly within the client portal app. For users who have enrolled in Canopy Payments, clients can choose which invoices to pay, make partial payments, and pay with on-file payment methods straight from their phones. Coming soon, your clients will also be able to add payment methods using the client portal app.
