What's New for Practice Management
Priority Tasks
Description: You can now mark and sort tasks by priority level. Tasks can be marked as High, Medium, or Low priority. This update also brings in-line editing to the Task List and the Tasks page on the Contact Profile.

Global Inbox
Description: We've added a new icon to the global navigation bar. Canopy users no longer need to jump between windows to check their email and use Canopy. You can now view and manage your emails from directly within Canopy.

Move Files to a Connection
Description: Contact files can now be quickly moved between accounts that are linked as connections.

File Editing
Description: With the help of Canopy's Desktop Assistant, Canopy users can now edit files on the computer with the program of their choice. Once finished, just click save and the desktop assistant will take care of updating the file in Canopy.

QuickBooks Online Contact Sync
Description: You can now integrate QuickBooks Online with your Canopy account. Currently, this integration will only sync your contacts between Canopy and QBO, but more functionality is on the way. The QBO integration is only available to tenants who are on contact based pricing.

Utilization by Team Member Report
Description: A new report to show Utilization by Team Member has been added to the billing reports. This report shows a breakdown of Billable Hours, Adjustments, and Utilization - How much money was actually billed and what percentage of the billable amount was realized.

Collapsible Subtasks on the Tasks List
Description: The Tasks List has been cleaned up to allow users to collapse and expand subtasks. This allows users to locate their primary tasks more quickly. Currently, this feature must be opted into. It will be fully integrated after tax season.

What's New for Mobile
Canopy Mobile Practitioner App Android v1.11.0
Description: Canopy's Android practitioner app now can now track time, allowing users to keep track of their time from anywhere in the world.

Description: Task and Client Request templates can now be utilized within the app.
