What's New for Canopy
Roles and Permissions
Description: Canopy has new roles and permissions available to assign to team members. Free and Standard users will have access to 6 pre-made roles with pre-assigned permissions. Professional users are able to create their own roles and customize each role's assigned permissions.
Find this change:
- Navigate to your Settings in Canopy.

Select Roles and Permissions on the left-side column
- Initially, only Admin users have access to the Roles and Permissions page.

What's New for Practice Management
WIP Billing & Custom Invoices
Description: Invoices can now be customized to show only selected information to clients. Single line invoices are now possible. In addition to custom invoices, time entries can now be added to invoices, allowing you to bill for your work in progress. Because invoices can be customized, you can select what time entry information to show to clients on the final invoice.

What's New for Tax Resolution
Collections Cases
Description: Collections cases can now be purchased from directly within Canopy, thanks to our previously released Self Service feature. When adding a Collections Form to an Engagement, users will need to activate a collections case for that Engagement. Once activated, users can work with as many collections forms as needed for that specific Engagement. An additional collections case will need to activated for each Engagement a collections form is assigned to.
