This roadmap is meant to provide Canopy users with some insight into what updates our team is working on making available to you.
Canopy Global Inbox
Search & Print
Description: The inbox will be searchable within Canopy and users will be able to print emails directly from their inbox.
Goal: Allow for quicker and easier navigation of the inbox.
QuickBooks Online (QBO)
Service Items and Invoices Sync
Description: Canopy's QBO integration will soon automatically sync all service items and invoices created in Canopy to QBO.
Goal: Allow users to automate their workflow and eliminate double input of invoices.
Payments and Deposits Sync
Description: Payment and deposit information will soon be able to integrate with QBO so that all information is automatically synced between Canopy and QBO.
Goal: Create a more robust integration with QBO and allow users to better automate their workflow. This update will eliminate the need to enter payment and deposit information twice, and helps make bank reconciliation a quick and simple process in QBO.
Date Columns, Days in Status info, Notes, and Tax Columns
Description: Canopy is working to improve the task list with a series of small, impactful changes to the dashboard's information and functionality. The date columns will be updated, new tax columns will be added, notes will be visible on the dashboard, and the Status column will be updated to show the number of days assigned to each status.
Goal: Provide more task information on the task list in a cleaner and easier to use format.
Third Party Links in the Client Portal
Description: You will be able to post third party links in the client portal to link to a scheduler or other important website.
Goal: Allow you to easily connect your clients to other important websites.
Description: We will be adding new reports to help you see how much time and money your tasks are costing, and how much revenue your tasks are bringing in.
Goal: Create more robust reports to help users better understand how their tasks are affecting their profit.
Canopy Client Portal App
Native Payments v2 - Payment Methods
Description: If you are enrolled in Canopy Payments, your clients will be able to add new payment methods to their account while using the app on their phones.
Goal: To provide a full-suite of payment options for your clients so that they can do everything they need to right on their phones.
